How do I operate a PLJW 101?

The PLJW 101 wall or under cabinet range hood features a black LCD control panel. On this panel, you can adjust the blower speed, lights, heat lamps, and main power.

Check out the video below to learn how to operate our PLJW 101.

Note: In this video, the 101 uses dimmable Halogens. But, it now comes with LEDs, which are not dimmable.

From left to right, the controls include:

  • Heat lamps
  • Lights
  • High
  • Medium
  • Slow
  • Super Quiet
  • Main Power

The super quiet mode runs at just 2.8 sones, which is like a whisper. At this quietest setting, your hood pulls 400 CFM of air.

You can also turn on a three-minute auto fan shutoff by selecting a fan speed, then pressing the power button. The power button will flash, which means that your fan will turn off in three minutes.
